School Counseling

Kristen Fritts has been a part of Fulton High School for 16 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and her master’s degree in School Counseling from Lincoln Memorial University. During her time at Fulton, she has served in several roles; Including College Access Coach with Project GRAD Knoxville, Student & Behavior Support, and now proudly serves as the Freshman Academy Counselor.

Kristen is passionate about helping students discover their purpose and build a strong foundation for their future. Having struggled in high school herself, she understands the challenges many students face and is committed to supporting and encouraging them every step of the way. She sets high expectations while also serving as a constant cheerleader for her students during their ninth-grade year.

Outside of school, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their beloved pets. She loves the outdoors, especially time spent at the river or the beach.

Rachel Bond is beginning her second year as a school counselor at Fulton High School and with the Academy of Communications. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and her Master’s degree in Counseling with an emphasis in School Counseling from Mississippi State University.

Rachel is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel seen, heard, and valued. She strives to build meaningful connections and help students reach both their academic and personal goals.

Outside of school, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, walking her dog, reading, being with friends and family, and keeping up with all things college football.

Jenny Martin is serving in her 32nd year as a school counselor, following two years of teaching middle school in Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Berry College and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of Tennessee. Jenny is grateful for a career she would choose all over again. As a counselor, Jenny has dedicated her career to supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally. Outside of school, Jenny enjoys spending time with her husband, two adult sons, and her daughters-in-law.

 Anne Troutman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, as well as a Master of Science and an Education Specialist degree in School Counseling, all from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has dedicated over 31 years to supporting students as a school counselor in Knox County Schools, with the last five years proudly serving the community at Fulton High School.

Outside of work, Anne enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, cheering on the Vols, and relaxing with friends.
